How do I get to the clinic?

The clinic is on the 7th floor of the Sangkyung Building at 120 Teheran-ro, about 100 m from Gangnam Station Exit 1 . Gangnam Station is served by subway line 2 and the Shinbundang line, so most of Seoul is a single ride away.

  • From Incheon Airport (ICN): take the AREX express train to Seoul Station, then line 2 toward Gangnam; or ride an airport limousine bus straight to the Gangnam Station stop. A taxi takes roughly 60–80 minutes depending on traffic.
  • From Gimpo Airport (GMP): line 9 then line 2, or a taxi of about 40–60 minutes depending on traffic.
  • By taxi: show the driver "강남역 1번 출구, 테헤란로 120 상경빌딩". Taxis in Seoul accept cards.
  • Staying nearby: Gangnam, Yeoksam and Samseong have many hotels within a few minutes' walk or one subway stop, which keeps follow-up visits easy. See our international patient guide for planning your stay.
Before your visit

What should I bring to my appointment?

A little preparation makes the first visit smoother, especially if you are flying in and hoping to combine the consultation with a same-day procedure. Everything on this list is optional except your ID, but the more you bring, the more precise Dr. Yoon's advice can be.

Not sure what applies to you? Read the frequently asked questions or ask us when you book.

  • Passport or ID — required for registration (and for the medical-tourism paperwork international patients may need later).
  • A list of your medications and supplements , including blood thinners, hormones and anything you take for pain.
  • Records or photos of prior surgery if you are coming for revision or filler removal : operative notes, the product name of any filler or implant, and dates.
  • Fast for 2 hours before a same-day procedure. Many vaginal procedures can be scheduled the same day as the consultation, and sedation is safer on an empty stomach.
  • Loose, comfortable clothing so you can walk out comfortably and go straight back to your hotel.
  • Remove nail polish and gel nails before a procedure — the monitoring sensor reads through your fingernail.
  • Your questions , written down. Consultations are unhurried, and it helps to have them in one place.

Ask a quick question before you book

Many patients want to know whether their concern is something we treat before they fill in a form. Message us on KakaoTalk or email a short description — and, if you like, photos — and a coordinator will tell you whether a consultation makes sense and what it would involve. Online pre-consultation is available for patients travelling from abroad; see how we work with international patients .

Questions

Visiting the clinic: common questions

Short answers about appointments, language and getting here. For questions about specific procedures, recovery and travel, see the full FAQ page or read about Dr. Yoon Ho-joo and the clinic .

  • Do I need an appointment?

Yes, please book ahead. Surgical consultations are scheduled so that Dr. Yoon has time for an examination and ultrasound, and so an interpreter or coordinator is available if you need one. Same-day procedures are often possible after the consultation, but only when the time has been reserved in advance. Walk-ins for general gynecology are sometimes accommodated, but booking avoids a wait.

  • Do you speak English?

Yes. Our coordinators handle enquiries in English, and the clinic has been registered with the Korean Ministry of Health and Welfare to receive international patients since 2011. For the consultation itself we use English-speaking staff and, where helpful, real-time translation, so you can discuss sensitive details precisely. If you need another language, tell us when you book and we will arrange support where we can.

  • Can I consult online before travelling?

Yes. Send a description of your concern, any previous surgery or filler records, and photos if you are comfortable doing so, by email or KakaoTalk. A coordinator reviews them with Dr. Yoon and replies with a preliminary opinion, the likely procedure and a written estimate. A final decision is always made after an in-person examination and ultrasound in Seoul, but the online step means you arrive knowing what to expect. See the international patient guide for the full process.

  • Is parking available?

We do not list dedicated patient parking, and parking around Gangnam Station is limited and expensive. We recommend arriving by subway (Gangnam Station Exit 1, about 100 m away) or by taxi, which can drop you at the building entrance on Teheran-ro. If you are having a sedated procedure you should not drive afterwards in any case, so please plan to return to your hotel by taxi.
